The Town Hall is going live on May 29th

May 28th, 2008 · 2 Comments

We are starting our online Town Hall this Thursday, May 29th with an article by Larry Shumway, Deputy Superintendent at the Utah State Office of Education. He’ll be writing about education funding — does money matter, and what Utah could do with more funding — in response to Utah Foundation’s report on education funding to be released that same day.

I love the concept of this blog! I hope many people visit and discuss issues here and I’m happy to see that you picked a member of the education community and a very important topic to kick things off.

You couldn’t have picked a better person to kick things off. Larry Shumway provides wonderful leadership at the State Office of Education and I’m sure his input will be insightful.
